Fall Kickoff is right around the corner!!

Sunday, August 16th is Promotion Sunday when every kid moves up a grade. And, as part of kickoff we are encouraging everyone to wear your favorite team gear and come ready for a fun morning as we celebrate all that God has in store this fall. It’s gonna be a great morning. Don’t miss it.

Wednesday, August 19th is MDWK Kickoff and we have a few changes this fall:

• Our family meal now will run from 5:30-6:30pm.
• Adventureland will open a bit earlier than last year, so you have a safe place for you and your kids before doors open for birth through 6th grade.
• House of Prayer will kick off that night for all adults along with ministry for everyone birth through 12th grade!

This is the perfect time to get involved here at FBC Jenks!

MidWeek Kickoff will be Wednesday, August 19th. This first night of Midweek we will jump right into the regular weekly activities of learning Bible skills, fun recreation games, and Bible lessons. We’re excited for your family to join us! We’ll learn about these ordinary people in which God did amazing things. In addition, we’ll be strengthening Bible literacy, worship, and scripture memory all while building intentional relationships and having a whole lot of fun! All Kindergarten through 6th graders are invited to join us every week! Preschool programing available for parents attending the Midweek Prayer Service or serving. Parents should remain on campus participating joining in the Prayer Service in the main Worship Center or serving in one of our Next Generation ministries. Doors open at 6:15 and pickup is at 7:40. Click HERE to sign up.

D Groups are small, same gender groups of 3 to 5 people who meet weekly to read the Bible, pray, and help each other follow Jesus in everyday life. These groups are simple, intentional, and built for real growth through accountability and obedience.

New D Groups are forming now! If you are interested in starting a group or want help finding one to join, email Jacob at jacob@fbcjenks.org with any questions. 

D-Group Interest Lunch – August 16 @ noon in the fellowship hall. Are you interested in learning more about D Groups or are you ready to start your own? Join us for a Women’s Bible Study on Wednesday evenings from 5:30–6:30pm, beginning August 19 in Room 201. We’ll study Angels by Melissa Spoelstra, exploring what Scripture teaches about angels, who they are, what they do, and how they reveal our God as the one who rules over heaven and earth. Join us for a Women’s Bible Study on Tuesday mornings from 9:45–11:45, beginning September 22. We’ll study the Gospel of John with Melissa Spoelstra, slowing down to linger with the living Word and learning from the example of Jesus, who never hurried but completed all the Father called Him to accomplish. Through this study, you’ll be challenged to grow in intimacy with Jesus and learn to live, serve, and rest in His peace. Register by September 9 and get an early bird price of $20 on Workbooks. Do you have a need or a concern you’d like our church family to pray about with you? Maybe you’ve seen answered prayer in your life and you’d like to share it with others.
