This Sunday, August 10, you can explore the opportunities to get plugged into your Unique Role within the various ministries here at FBC Jenks.

Bless our Schools Sunday is August 10. Our church will take time to pray for the year ahead and we also encourage families to pray together for their school, staff and students. At 7pm on August 10 please gather at your school flag pole for a prayer walk. If the weather is too hot or stormy feel free to park and pray at your school. If you want to pray for several schools, your family/friends can enjoy a prayer drive to each school. Our church will have the sanctuary open to gather and pray blessings over the school year.

If you are interested in starting or joining a Moms in Prayer Group for your school please contact Mary Herrmann at Mary.herrmann13@gmail.com.  All Moms, Grandma’s and women with a heart to pray are welcome to join.

Starting Point is the place to find your next step at FBC Jenks. It’s a two session class where you will learn more about God’s story and your role in it. Contact jacob@fbcjenks.org for more information and class schedule.

Join us for a study with Jennifer Rothschild, as she explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. The study will be led by Regina Caves every Wednesday from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm beginning September 3^rd though December 17^th. Ladies, please join us for our Tuesday morning Women’s Bible Study beginning September 9th and ending November 18th, from 9:45-11:45 am in Room 103. Our topic will be Sermon on the Mount with Jen Wilkin. We will study Matthew 5-7 as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Early-bird pricing of $20 for your book if registers by Friday, August 15. We hope you will invite your friends and join us as we study God’s word and lift up each other in prayer.
